Fitness Together continuing to expand

Fitness Together Holdings, Inc. (FTHI) has announced a record number of new franchise sales. According to the information provided by the company, March 2008 has been the biggest month of the year as far as franchise units sold are concerned, up 53% compared to February 2008. The company has, therefore, been enjoying rapid growth as, compared to January 2008, February had also had great results with a 30% increase in units sold.

FTHI offers two franchise models to entrepreneurs: the first is Fitness Together, which provides one-on-one personal training services in private suites. This business was founded in 1983 and began franchising in 1996. Today it has a network of over 400 franchise locations in 41 states and five countries including Costa Rica, Israel, Ireland and Canada. The company has also announced that it is expecting a further 98 locations to open up in the coming months.
 
FTHI's second business model is elements therapeutic massage, which specializes in high-end massage services provided at a convenient, affordable price point. Franchising of this business began in 2006 and it already has 85 units up and running.
